Housing a large forest reserve like the botanical and zoological park Ivoloina, Tamatave is a green city and flowers. This garden is home to many plant species native to the region and is near 13 lemur species that are accustomed to human presence. Another site to visit : dream Nest. This is a paradise spread over an area of approximately 50 ha on the shores of Lake Ampitabe. The Palmarium reserve throne in the middle of this stretch of water. This is a peninsula which includes more than 100 000 endemic palms. Elsewhere in the park, include various species of orchids, carnivorous plants, des Ravinala, ... Lemurs are the main inhabitants of this reserve including the famous Indri. Also in terms of nature to visit, we highly recommend the small offshore islands such as Tamatave :
