3 Concerts, 4 Master classes et 4 Dinner-concert, the Nosy Be Jazz Festival is growing and becoming more and more important. This cultural event bringing together the big names in local and international jazz on the perfume island, will be held 25 the 28 October 2017.

Several big names announced

After a successful first edition in 2016, the Nosy Be Jazz Festival returns this year with a very tempting program. Around twenty musicians from the USA, from Belgium, France, Reunion Island and Madagascar, will perform on the different stages of Nosy Be. For this year, artists such as Lalatiana, Replace Razafindrakoto, Full Vao Band and the CGM Jazz Club, were announced. Among the ranks of international artists, we can note the presence of the Belgian singer David Lynx with an international reputation, two great French pianists Armel Dupas and Alexis Pivot as well as the American trumpeter Kyle Allen and his companion Aina Cook of Malagasy origin. Several evenings will be planned in various places on the island, some of which will be completely free.

Pure jazz in the tropics

Born from a joint desire of a Malagasy tourist operator, ZàTours-Madagascar, the market leader in receiving Anglo-Saxon tourists in Madagascar, and a Parisian agency for the design and promotion of cultural events around jazz internationally, Sunny Live Music, Nosy Be Jazz Festival aims to develop the attractiveness of the island of Nosy Be through cultural tourism, in addition to its legendary assets., its tropical fauna and flora and dream landscapes.
