Of 6 the 8 November 2017, Madagascar will participate in World Travel Market Tourism Fair (WTM) in London (UK). This is a key event for tourism professionals from around the world.

En 2016, Madagascar welcomed nearly 5 800 English tourists, According to statistics of the Ministry of Tourism on arrivals at the Ivato International Airport. This market is particularly interested in birdwatching (bird watching) and generally to wildlife (nature, wildlife, flora).

As part of this show, Madagascar Tourist Office National will be accompanied by 12 tourism operators and the airline Air Madagascar. It will be a great opportunity to promote and increase the visibility of the destination Madagascar UK, one of its priority markets, and mark once again its continued presence on the international stage.

Par ailleurs, this event will enable national tour to study market development trends as well as to expand cooperation with British partners. Last year, the WTM, an international fairs of the world's top tourism, gathered more than 20 000 Tourism industry representatives, near 2800 journalists, more than 9000 international clients and has reached a record of nearly 50 000 visitors.
