The French channel TF1 has released a series of reports on several tourist spots in Madagascar, Including the Pangalanes Canal, The island of Nosy-Be and the famous lemurs , These primates endemic to the Big Island.

“It is one of the longest channels in the world, four times longer than that of Suez in Egypt. The Pangalanes canal runs the east coast of Madagascar along the Indian Ocean. On its banks, dozens of traditional villages, where tourists looking for a change of scenery, come to discover exceptional biodiversity”.

This is how the 30 December 2016, The French presenter on the TF1 TV news newspaper, Jacques Legros introduced the report focused on the Pangalanes canal. Directed by French journalist Eva Sanchez, qui a séjourné dans la Grande île au mois de novembre 2016, ce reportage met en avant l’histoire du canal, son rôle, sa biodiversité exceptionnelle, ses légendes et sa population.

Le même jour dans le JT de 20heures, un autre reportage sur le spot touristique de Nosy-be a été diffusé sur TFI. La journaliste française a voulu faire découvrir la beauté et la richesse des fonds marins de Nosy-be ainsi que les îlots paradisiaques qui l’entourent. Ce reportage a également mis en lumière le travail exceptionnel des biologistes marins, dans la préservation de la biodiversité marine de la région.

D’autres reportages réalisés notamment au parc national d’Andasibe seront diffusés sur TF1, incessamment. As part of its promotion mission, The ONTM supported the arrival of this TFI production team in Madagascar, of 10 the 24 November. The ONTMs took care of the land arrangements (Transport and accommodation) during the stay, and the right of filming in the parks managed by Madagascar National Parks.
